Russia increased its ice cream exports by 37% over 7 months.

The cost of the shipments reached $47 million. In the first seven months of this year, Russia exported more than $47 million worth of ice cream, which is 37% higher than the same period last year. Supplies to Africa are growing, according to the federal center "Agroexport" citing expert estimates. In physical terms, exports in January–July increased by 9%, to more than 10,000 tons. The top five importers in terms of value were Kazakhstan, which accounted for 35%, Belarus (15%), Uzbekistan (13%), Mongolia (10%), and Abkhazia (7%). The growth in exports is driven by shipments to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, East Asia, and other countries of the near abroad.
