Sunflower oil exports from Russia have seen a 35% increase in the first two months of this year, reaching 881 thousand tons, as reported by the Fat and Oil Union of Russia. This is a significant rise compared to the same period last year, with February exports slightly surpassing those of January. India has become the largest buyer of Russian sunflower oil, purchasing 309,000 tons, while China's purchases have decreased to 167,100 tons. There has also been a surge in demand in some European countries, including Estonia and Latvia.
