Russia has experienced a significant surge in dairy exports to China, with increases of over 60 percent compared to the same period last year. The growth is across a range of dairy products, including milk and cream (40% increase), cheese and cottage cheese (25%), and dry milk (32%). The exact export volumes are not yet announced, but early quarter data shows a notable increase in deliveries. Since the beginning of the year, Russia's dairy product exports have risen by 9% in volume to 186 thousand tons, and by 20% in value to 374 million dollars.
