Supplies of soybean oil abroad in the 2023-24 agricultural year may increase by 13 percent compared to last year, according to Mikhail Maltsev, executive director of the Fat and Oil Union. Output of soybean oil in 2022-23 exceeded one million tons, with exports increasing by 18 percent. Algeria, India, and China were the main importers. However, exchange rate duties may cause a decrease in exports and a potential change in the structure of exports to other EAEU countries and former USSR countries.
