From January to May 2024, the St. Petersburg branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Center for Grain Quality Assessment” conducted quality control and safety tests on 10 sea vessels, each capable of carrying between 30 thousand to 60 thousand tons of grain. The grain, mainly soft wheat, barley, peas, lentils, and flax, was exported to India, Turkey, Belgium, Italy, Algeria, Cuba, and Morocco. The testing and documentation were done in accordance with each country's specific requirements, and a total of 340 thousand tons of grain were examined by the branch since the beginning of the year.
