Russian market of sausages and meat semi-finished products

In Russia, there is a continued growth in the production of semi-finished products—the most substantial category among sausage products and food products made from meat. From January to June 2025, semi-finished products accounted for over 60% of the total production of such products, while sausages accounted for only over 30%. Boiled sausages became the most popular—67% of all sausage products. About half of the meat processing production in the country was produced in the Central Federal District. Among the products with significantly higher production volumes, semi-finished products showed growth: +1.4% over the past period of the year. As the production of raw meat in Russia increases, the output of meat processing products also rises.
