As of July 27, the region's catch has reached 178,002 tons, accounting for 83% of the national total, causing the annual forecast for Kamchatka's production to be significantly revised upwards to 280,750 tons, an increase of 41%. The total salmon production in the entire Russian Far East fishing area as of July 27 is 214,328 tons, with pink salmon still dominating, accounting for over 80%.
