Indonesia: The price of seaweed has dropped to IDR 6,000, the DPR blames Jokowi's project

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The price of seaweed has reportedly dropped to around IDR 6,000 per kilogram (kg). Therefore, the government is asked to immediately intervene to address this because it causes people to depend on seaweed cultivation for their source of income. The drop in seaweed prices is thought to be the effect of President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) plan to intensify seaweed downstreaming. Which then proposed a ban on seaweed exports.
