SAG certifies first shipment of gourmet fractionated honey to China

Santiago, June 2, 2020.- More than a ton and a half of gourmet fractionated honey for the Chinese market, certified by the Agricultural and Livestock Service, SAG, in the first export of this type of product to the Asian market, which opens a important business opportunity for honey that is produced mainly from native forest, with a high commercial value. The National Director of SAG, Horacio Bórquez, stated that "this shipment is of great relevance, since it opens the possibility of changing the way of exporting Chilean honey to another commercial modality, since it is currently carried out in 300 kg bulk drums . unlike fractional honey that includes added value, as it is in direct consumer packaging ”.
