The article reports on the conclusion of Russia's fishing season, which saw increased catches compared to the previous years for pink salmon, masu salmon, and chum salmon. The season, which ran from late May to October 10 for industrial enterprises and October 25 for indigenous peoples, resulted in a total catch of 1,992.3 tons. However, despite the increased catch, there was a significant rise in violations of fishery protection legislation, with 1,571 recorded, a 46.8% increase from the previous year and 96.4% more than the year before that.
