Samsun, Turkey, has become the leading city in cauliflower production, with a yield of 60 thousand tons this year. The city is also a major food warehouse for Turkey, providing both summer and winter vegetables, including cabbage, leek, broccoli, and cauliflower. Exports of vegetables have more than doubled, thanks to a new food control laboratory, and Samsun also ranks second in hazelnut production and third in kiwi production in Turkey.
