According to the Market and Supply Division (Dimer) of CEASA/MS, the highlight of the price increase this week was the sour passion fruit, with a variation of 8.33% – the 10 kg box went from R$ 120.00 to R$ 130.00. The main cause is the drop in supply in Bahia, a state that concentrates a large part of the national production of the fruit. Another item that showed appreciation was the carrot. The 20 kg box, coming from MG and SP, went from R$ 130.00 to R$ 140.00, reflecting the reduction in harvest due to rainfall in the producing regions.
