Since the beginning of this year, the aquaculture industry in Ho Chi Minh City has achieved multiple positive results. According to Ho Chi Minh City statistics, the marine catch output for the first ten months was approximately 301,200 tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.3%; the aquaculture output was approximately 63,200 tons, a year-on-year increase of 6.4%. According to statistics from the Bureau of Digital Transformation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the export value of Vietnamese aquatic products for the first ten months of this year reached approximately 9.31 billion USD, a year-on-year increase of about 12.9%. China, the United States, and Japan are Vietnam's three major export markets for aquatic products, with market shares of 20%, 17.4%, and 15.1%, respectively.
