(Agraria.pe) The Free Trade Agreement (FTA), signed between Peru and the United States in April 2006 and which came into force three years later, in 2009, boosted bilateral trade, especially Peruvian agricultural exports to the vast U.S. market.
In 2024, Peru exported fresh blueberries to the United States for US$ 1,224 million, fresh grapes for US$ 867 million, and fresh asparagus for US$ 275 million.
