The National Agrarian Health Service (SENASA) of Peru has initiated a CSF vaccination campaign for 265,366 pig farmers across 15 regions, with a goal to vaccinate 2.5 million pigs. The campaign aims to curb the spread of Classical Swine Fever and is voluntary, with participants receiving an Official Vaccination Certificate necessary for internal animal trade. SENASA is also providing training on disease recognition and sanitary measures. Last year, 11 regions were declared CSF-free, benefiting 157,704 producers and reducing their production costs.
