A report by the China News Service has highlighted a significant milestone in China's agricultural trade, with Yuncheng in Shanxi becoming the first region to export watermelons to Hong Kong. The shipment, containing 8000kg of watermelons, was grown and processed by Yuncheng Shiding Linghang Agricultural Technology Development Co., Ltd. using eco-friendly practices. This company's watermelons are renowned for their high sugar content and thin rind, making them attractive in the market. The Yuncheng Customs has facilitated this export by expediting administrative processes and introducing a novel supervision model to ensure smooth export operations. This event marks a crucial step in boosting agricultural income in Yuncheng and is part of a broader effort to expand the export of Chinese agricultural products.
