Sharp increase in freight rates in the 32nd week in the Azov-Black Sea region

At the 32nd week, freight rates in the Azov-Black Sea region are recording a sharp increase of up to 32 dollars per ton for the shipment of 3,000 tons of wheat from Azov to the ports of the Sea of Marmara. There is a significant increase in demand for Russian grain in Turkey and the Mediterranean countries, primarily for wheat.

The export duty rate on wheat from the Russian Federation will be 19.4 rubles per ton from August 6 after four weeks at zero level. The duty on barley will remain at zero, while the duty on corn will increase from 215.3 to 371.5 rubles per ton a week earlier.
