Ukraine: Shellfish exports increased by 60% in 11 months

In January-November 2023, Ukraine exported 855 tons of shellfish, which is 59.9% more than in the same period last year. This is evidenced by the data of the State Customs Service. In monetary terms, exports increased 1.9 times to $4.9 million. The main buyers of domestic shellfish during the 11 months of 2023 were Lithuania (65.7%), Spain (22.2%) and Poland (5.2%). The import of shellfish for 11 months of 2023 reached 4.2 thousand tons, which is 1.8 times higher than last year's figure for the same period.
