(Siheung=Yonhap News) The Siheung branch of NH Nonghyup held a rice consumption promotion campaign at the Hojo-beol rice harvesting experience event held in Hajung-dong, Siheung City on the 21st.
The Siheung branch distributed 'Siheung Hattomi (rice)' to elementary school students who participated in the rice harvesting experience event, and promoted activities to encourage rice consumption, including the importance of eating breakfast for growing children.
Im Woo-jin, head of the Siheung branch of Nonghyup, said, "We hope that this event will lead to the habit of eating breakfast and create a healthy South Korea" and "Nonghyup will continue to promote the Nongsim Cheonsim (farming heart, heaven heart) movement to increase the importance of agriculture and the value of rural areas."
