Sinaloa competes with Brazil to export sorghum to China

Mexico is still in competition with Brazil to export sorghum to China through a Contract Agriculture scheme, establishing a protocol with SENASICA, although time is running out for the region, as the deal should be closed before December 15, reported Ismael Bello Esquivel. The secretary of agriculture and livestock reaffirmed that all efforts have been made and if there has been interest from a foreign company to buy Sinaloan sorghum, an issue that Governor Rubén Rocha Moya disclosed a couple of months ago, after indicating that they intended to purchase up to one million tons of the grain.
