Russia's organized sector has seen a 2% increase in greenhouse product harvest compared to the same period last year, totaling 149.1 thousand tons, with tomatoes making up 59.7 thousand tons. The regions leading the production increase include Stavropol, Perm, and Krasnodar Territories, as well as Voronezh, Kaluga, and Leningrad Regions. The growth is supported by federal and regional initiatives, promoting the development of modern, AI-powered greenhouse enterprises and the cultivation of domestically bred varieties. The ROST Group of Companies has successfully implemented its AI 'Digital Agronomist' ecosystem and achieved significant production volumes of Russian tomato varieties using domestically bred seeds.
