Brazil: Sindilat and Apex prepare a mission to Chile to prospect dairy exports

Dairy products from Rio Grande do Sul are prospecting new product exports to Chile. The Dairy Industry Union of RS (Sindilat) is preparing a delegation of member companies to participate in Espacio Food & Service, a food industry fair in Santiago. The project is supported by Apex Brasil. “It is an alternative to add value to our products”, stressed the vice president, Alexandre Guerra, who has already signaled the interest of Cooperativa Santa Clara, in Carlos Barbosa (RS), to join the mission. According to the executive secretary of Sindilat, Darlan Palharini, the expectation is to take dairy products to open negotiations, both with the Chilean market and with other Latin American countries. “Some companies are already negotiating with Chile, Venezuela and Argentina.
