South Africa authorizes 19 Brazilian slaughterhouses to export meat

The deal includes cuts of beef, pork, horse and poultry. The country has shipped more than 7 billion tons of meat since January so far. The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock reported that 19 Brazilian slaughterhouses were authorized to export beef, pork, horse and poultry to South Africa. With the new permits, the total number of Brazilian establishments authorized to send animal proteins to the African country reaches 28. According to Abrafrigo, the list includes companies that have updated their certification conditions. According to the Ministry, the new qualifications are located in nine Brazilian states.
