The National Union of Milk Producers (Unionmilk) and the Association of Retail Companies (ACORT) in the presence of the Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut signed the Charter of Participants in the Dairy Market. Producers commit to not releasing products that violate technical regulations, and retail chains commit to not selling such products. To control compliance with the requirements, a system of mutual inspections is introduced. Each participant can select samples of another participant's products from the open market at least once a year and send them for examination to a state-accredited laboratory. The inspecting party is appointed by the Charter Secretariat (based on Unionmilk) on a random distribution principle, which eliminates bias. If a participant disagrees with the results of the initial inspection, they can initiate a re-examination.
