The Government of Spain has confirmed the death of 10 new wild boars from African swine fever within the radius of the first outbreak. This figure brings the total number of positive cases to 26, as confirmed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA). The animals were located in the vicinity of previously reported cases, in the municipality of Cerdanyola del Vallés (Barcelona). Another 208 carcasses of animals found dead in the natural environment or on roads and railways in the infected area and its surroundings have also been analyzed. In these cases, the results have been negative, according to the same source.
