The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has reinforced its sanitary surveillance program adapted to the increased risk of incursion of African Swine Fever (ASF), a plan that includes the obligation to annually perform serological tests on pigs from 1,200 farms. The report, consulted by Efeagro, states that the sampling should be done twice a year, with a periodicity of at least six months, which means that at least 1,200 farms must be investigated annually throughout the national territory.
