Current cost, insurance and freight (CIF) prices in Spain have dropped to approximately €2,650 per metric ton, while in Italy, they are slightly higher at around €2,700 per metric ton. Market activity is low in southern Europe due to vacation vacations. Large Spanish vessels are taking advantage of the available schools of yellowfin tuna in the Indian Ocean, where prices have fallen to around €2,300 per metric ton. Prices in the Atlantic Ocean rose slightly to around €2,500 per metric ton, FOB Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. The first phase of the 72-day fishing ban has begun in the Eastern Pacific, leading to some fleets suspending operations and putting pressure on yellowfin prices, which have dropped to around €2,400 per metric ton. Buying and selling activity in Europe also drops to a minimum due to the summer holidays.
