Italian sparkling wine exports experienced a significant growth of 7% in the first half of 2024, reaching a value of 1079 million and a volume of 2.54 million hectoliters, marking an 11% increase. The growth is largely due to the USA and UK, contributing 40% of the total with 26 million euros and 20 million euros respectively. The rest of the world, excluding Russia, accounted for 50% of the total growth. Despite the positive growth, the global wine trade saw a negative trend of approximately -3% in the same period.
