Spring sowing has begun in the Tersky region of Kabardino-Balkaria, with 65 hectares of spring barley and 12 hectares of potatoes already sown. The timing of the sowing is in line with the average annual start, expected to cover about 220 thousand hectares of land this year. The cultivation will focus on cereals and legumes, especially corn for grain, while reducing the area under sunflowers to maintain crop rotation stability. The sowing also includes vegetables and potatoes, while the fertilization of winter crops is ongoing.
