In 2022, Egypt's exports of dairy products, eggs, and honey brought in a total of $232 million, according to a report by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics. The report detailed that the exports were dominated by fresh white cheese, contributing $192 million, followed by cream, fresh milk, children's milk, honey, ghee and butter, Roumi and cheddar cheese, yogurt, grated cheese, fresh eggs, and Roquefort cheese.
