STF postpones judgment on lawsuits regarding the Soy Moratorium

The Supreme Federal Court (STF) interrupted the judgment of the injunction that suspends all judicial actions against the Soy Moratorium, an agreement in the sector that prevents the purchase of soy cultivated in deforested areas in the Legal Amazon since July 2008. The injunction was granted by Justice Flávio Dino and remains in effect, ensuring that the processes remain suspended until the plenary issues its opinion. The rapporteur of the case, Justice Dias Toffoli, has 90 days to bring the judgment back to the plenary. The STF had decided to suspend all actions on the Soy Moratorium, which was scheduled to be voted on between November 14 and 25, 2025. Justice Flávio Dino's decision maintains the suspension until the final determination of the Court.
