The National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs (Devida) and the Ministry of Production (Produce) are promoting the technical strengthening of aquaculture producers in the Valley of the Rivers Apurímac, Ene, and Mantaro (Vraem) through a specialized internship at the Aquaculture Center of Piura, a strategic facility of the National Fisheries Development Fund (Fondepes). This action is part of the inter-institutional agreement signed by both entities to contribute to the fulfillment of the National Policy against Drugs by 2030. The Aquaculture Centers of Fondepes are high-level technical spaces that promote innovation, adaptation, and technological development for the cultivation of priority species. Technological packages that strengthen national aquaculture competitiveness and improve the production processes of thousands of families dedicated to this activity are generated from these laboratories.
