In 2024, the Republic of Crimea allocated over 736 million rubles in subsidies for the development of its viticulture industry, which included funding for young vineyards and those at a fruit-bearing age. This funding has been fully utilized, according to the region's Ministry of Agriculture. The subsidies have enabled a reduction in low-yielding vineyards, and the 2023 grape harvest totaled 115.22 thousand tons. The harvest for the 2024 grape season began in mid-August and is expected to conclude in December.
