Sugar and molasses export in Brazil totals 1.94 million tons in December, daily average 35% higher compared to 2021

Brazil exported 1.94 million tons of sugar this December (17 working days), surpassing the same period in 2021, with accumulated revenue of US$ 821.57 million, according to the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex), of the Ministry of Economy, this Monday (26). In the last week alone, more than 41,000 t were shipped. In the whole of last month, Brazil exported 4.07 million t of products related to the sector amid good prices and delay in the Indian harvest.
