As of October 1st, Kazakhstan's sunflower seed reserves amounted to 322 thousand tons, which is significantly lower than earlier in July and compared to the same time last year. Overall, the country had 967 thousand tons of oilseeds available, including flax, rapeseed, safflower, and soybeans. The National Association of Oilseed Processors predicts a 30-40% decrease in sunflower harvest due to dry weather conditions, estimating it will not surpass 850 thousand tons, a 17% decrease from the previous year.
