Production of chicken eggs in Russia increased by 2.4% in September compared to the same period last year, reaching approximately 3.2 billion eggs. Despite this increase, prices have decreased by 19.2% and 24.8% for the first and second categories respectively since the beginning of the year. The stable market is attributed to 80% of eggs being supplied to retail chains under long-term contracts. Wholesale prices are currently lower than they were in the first half of the year.
