Brazil: Supply pressure drives fall in papaya prices, Cepea reveals

Papaya prices continue to fall in Brazil's main producing regions. In the north of Espírito Santo, Hawaii type 12-18 papaya was sold at an average of R$0.98/kg last week, reflecting a sharp 41% drop compared to the previous period. In the south of Bahia, Formosa papaya had an average price of R$1.23/kg, a 36% reduction in the same period.
