China’s sausage production ranks second in the world

Russian Sputnik News Agency, Moscow: According to a survey provided to Sputnik News Agency by the Russian Agricultural Export Center, China's sausage production will rank second in the world in 2022. ​ China's sausage product output in 2022 will be 6.0905 million tons. China's output is second only to the United States (about 7.5 million tons). ​ The EU ranks third in sausage production (5.2764 million tons). Russia ranks fourth (2411.3 tons). Russia’s output exceeds that of any EU country. Brazil, Japan and Argentina are also major sausage producing countries. ​ Russia’s sausage exports to China are only 100 tons, accounting for 0.2% of total Russian sausage exports.
