In the framework of the World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought, it was reported that a viable response to this problem is the productive reconversion of crops that require less water. Through sustainable practices, better productive conditions can be created in the arid and semi-arid regions of the country, for the benefit of small-scale farmers and ranchers, said the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
