The 28th Special Self-Governing Province of Gangwon Korean Life Improvement Contest

[Korean Farmers and Fishermen Newspaper Reporter Lee Woo-jung] The 28th Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Conference for Improving Korean Life was held on the 30th at the Samcheok Gymnasium. With the theme "Agriculture in the heart, the countryside in the world," the conference was held to foster unity and progress among female leaders driving the vitality of agriculture and rural areas. The event was attended by over 2,000 people, including the provincial governor, the vice chairman of the provincial assembly, the mayor of Samcheok, heads of agricultural organizations, related officials from relevant agencies, and family members of the members of the Life Improvement Association. The event site featured a variety of programs, including rice cooking competitions by city and county, a five-course meal display using local agricultural products, a promotion booth for agricultural safety, club presentations, and more, which garnered a great response from the participants.
