The Agricultural Ministry's Jeonnam Office catches 20 places violating origin labeling for kimchi cabbage and seasonings during kimchi-making season.

During the kimchi season, the National Agricultural Products Quality Management Service Jeonnam Branch (Branch Director Lee Nam-yoon) conducted a special inspection on the origin labeling from the end of October to early December, resulting in the discovery of 20 businesses violating origin labeling regulations. This inspection was carried out by deploying special judicial police officers and honorary monitors, targeting general restaurants, kimchi manufacturing and sales companies, and agricultural product processing companies, with a focus on checking acts such as falsely labeling foreign agricultural products as domestic or misleading consumers by falsely labeling them as coming from famous domestic regions.
