The Russian Ministry of Agriculture plans to expand hop field areas by 3.1 times, reaching over 955 hectares by 2028. This initiative, aimed at supporting the brewing industry's growth, includes financial incentives such as subsidies, preferential lending, and an allocation of 5.8 billion rubles for perennial plantings in 2024. This announcement was made in conjunction with the Baltika brewing company at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
