The Argentine government decided to validate a platform developed by the private sector to guarantee the export of products from the soy and beef complex to the European Union (EU-27). This is the Sector Vision platform of the Gran Chaco Argentino (Visec), which consists of a georeferenced system that will allow complete traceability of soybean consignments and the cattle farm at the national level from the field of origin to the port of shipment. “Today, a historic agreement was signed between the government, industry and the agricultural sector to develop a traceability platform for deforestation-free soy and beef,” indicated a statement from Ciara-CEC.
