The article reports that sugar beet harvest has commenced in Dezful agricultural fields, covering an area of 4,569 hectares, and is expected to continue until early July. Approximately 340 thousand tons of sugar beet products are predicted to be harvested, with 25 harvesting machines in operation. These products will be processed in 10 sugar factories from various cities. Furthermore, the construction of a new sugar factory in Dezful, with a capacity of 12,000 tons of beet sugar per day, is nearing completion.
