The president of the Segura Hydrographic Confederation (CHS), Mario Urrea, accompanied by the technical director, Carlos Marco, and the head of projects and works, Sebastián Delgado, have explained the various alternatives that CHS is considering to reduce the risk of flooding in the Vega Baja de Alicante, before the various Water Courts affected, in a working meeting at the headquarters of the Private Water Court of Orihuela. Thus, alternative 1 has been developed based on the study carried out by the Polytechnic University of Valencia as a result of the agreement between CHS and UPV, for the management of flood risk in the Vega Baja del Segura.
