Russia: The collection of raspberries and blackberries has begun in Crimea

The acting minister also reported that by July 3, more than 26 tons of blackberries had been collected from an area of 8 hectares. “In Crimea, blackberries grow on an area of 35 hectares. Mostly, Crimean farmers grow one of the most popular varieties - “thornfree”. This is a dessert variety with large black berries and thick, thornless shoots.
