The rapeseed exports from European Union member states as a whole during the first three months of the current agricultural season, which began on July 1, have doubled compared to the same period last season to 260 thousand tons, according to estimates by the reputable German company Oil World. Of these, 152 thousand tons were sent to the United Kingdom compared to 107 thousand tons in the first quarter of last season, and 98 thousand tons to Pakistan, with zero deliveries during the July-September period of 2024. The increased exports are mainly due to a much richer harvest in the community in 2025, following a significant increase in yields, especially in Denmark and Sweden, where they were relatively low last year. Currently, the company's experts estimate the rapeseed harvest in the EU at 20.3 million tons – 200 thousand tons above their forecast a month ago and 3.1 million tons more than last year's result.
