The Hungarian Turkey Association is addressing the challenges faced by the turkey sector, including rising input costs, declining consumption, and reduced slaughterhouse capacities. The share of turkey production in the poultry sector has decreased to 12.68% in 2022, compared to 27.11% in 2002. The association is committed to finding breakthroughs in the sector to make turkey and its quality products popular again, recognizing the impact of economic events and the need for innovation and marketing to increase consumption.
