The banana industry continues on its recovery path with greater shipments. From January to August 2023, according to data from the Banana Marketing and Export Association (Acorbanec), exported boxes totaled 247,960,827 boxes, which meant 7.17% more.
The main boost to these sales came from orders from the European Union, our main partner and the market that has had the most demands for fruit this year.
