The experiment on the labeling of fertilizers will begin in the Russian Federation in November 2025.

The experiment will be open to manufacturers, importers, as well as wholesale and retail trade organizations. The Government of the Russian Federation has adopted a resolution on conducting an experiment in Russia on the labeling of certain types of fertilizers using the "Honest Sign" system. According to the document, the experiment will run from November 1, 2025, to August 31, 2026. It will concern only fertilizers in consumer packaging. The main task of the experiment will be to form a general model and procedure for labeling, as well as to work out the optimal technologies for applying identification means to the selected goods. In the experiment, which will be conducted on a voluntary basis, fertilizer manufacturers, importers of such goods, as well as wholesale and retail trade organizations will be able to participate.
